Goodbye 2005!
Friday, December 30, 2005

A lot of us had a bad year this year. Right? But of course, there MUST have been some good things that happened. So, what to list first? Good? Bad? Bad? Good? Okay, bad.

Bad things that happened in 2005. (Well, to me.)
1. My Dad and I are still not in good terms.
2. I didn't pass Ateneo.
3. I didn't pass UP.
4. I have been a brat.
5. I didn't save money.
6. I didn't study THAT well.
7. I criticized a lot of people.
8. I still cried for him.
9. I had lots of sleepless nights.
10. I learned to cram.
11. I was stressed.
12. The desktop is still... dead.
13. I sprained my ankle.

Okay, let's move on. Can't think of anything bad that happened.

Good things.
1. I passed DLSU, as well as UST.
2. I think I made the right decision for going to DLSU instead of UST.
3. I made tons of new friends!
4. I studied. Really.
5. I matured a bit. (I think.)
6. My mom bought me an iPOD.
7. She also bought a laptop because the stupid desktop won't start.
8. I improved in writing, just compare what I was writing last 2004 and you'll see.
9. Graduated HS.
10. I'm not bilmoko anymore. I now know my limitations.
11. My N3510i is still alive right now. It's been with me for more than a year!
12. I gained insights in Philosophy.
13. I learned some Japanese. Yey!
14. I finally got over him. Yes. I did.
15. I had my first retreat, the Saliksik.
16. Though I did not celebrate my birthday with my family, I had the best birthday this year. :)
17. I do not watch TV that often anymore.
18. I read a lot of books.
19. More people read my blog now.
20. My Aunt will give birth next year!
21. I seriously dieted.
22. My gown was loosely fit during prom night, which meant I lost weight. Haha.
23. I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time.
24. Grown my hair past my shoulders and had it dyed.

Realizations.
1. La Salle is not so bad after all.
2. Shaped eyebrows makes you look 10 and a half times better.
3. You're never too old for anything.
4. Even the slightest detail counts.
5. I should stop and think first before blabbing about something. That way, I can reflect for a moment and have much greater things to say, including the values, lessons, etc. of that event. (Got this from Niko.)
6. Friends come and go.
7. Only true friends keep in touch even after highschool.
8. Moving on is never easy. But once you've finally moved on, it feels great.
9. There are people in the world who have worse problems than me.
10. Crying over your grades is normal.
11. Regrets come in the end, when you can't do anything about it.
12. Basketball is not my thing.
13. I love watching movies, but I can't watch them all because I don't have a movie buddy.
14. A lot of good things happened to me this year.
15. I expected too much, that's why my Christmas wasn't happy. (Thanks to Tracy for telling me.)
16. I am blessed.
17. God loves me.
18. I am still clueless about php and ftp and.. whatever.
19. Education is really important.
20. I am thankful because I am still able to study.
21. People really do change when they're inlove.
22. Not all people would understand me so I have to be careful with my words.
23. I can be who I want to be.
24. There are many questions in life that I can't answer. (Thanks to Jason. Haha.)
25. I can get high grades if I want to.
26. Dial-up really sucks.
27. I have a lot of great friends-whether online or real.
28. I still haven't learned how to apply eyeliner.

Goals.
1. No softdrinks. (because of Aura.)
2. Diet in time for my debut.
3. Take care of my skin.
4. Be on the Dean's List.
5. Have GPA not lower than 2.0 or 2.5
6. Push my mom to buy me a digicam.
7. Be nicer to my brothers.
8. Study even harder.
9. Buy myself a nice present, when I deserve it.
10. Stop saying bad words.
11. Learn to apply eyeliner and eyeshadow.

Sorry for keeping you. It took me a loooooooong time doing this. I'll edit this one if I have more bad/good things, realizations and goals.

Happy 2006 everyone!
May you have a fruitful year ahead! :)
